"Now correct me if I'm wrong....I found out from someone at the GOP caucus that in fact, the event fee of 15$/20$ for the Best Western Paul Rally (2/8/08) was in fact optional unless you intended to eat. If this is indeed true, this new member of this meetup is slightly irritated because this was never stated as an option on this site, or at the registration table...in fact...I was told I "must" register and pay the $20 bucks. I probably would have paid anyway...but for someone who didn't eat more than a handful of nachos this doesn't seem entirely honest; albeit I have faith that this was surely a miscommunication, than an intentional omission. That is if what that random Paul supporter at the caucus told me was correct. If not...then congrats on a decent event and just forget everything else I just said."
